I think the best brand is the one sitting in your driveway.
I'm a lincoln man, I love my old 2000 Town Car. Is it better than a 2014 MKZ? On paper no, but to me, yes!!! Tomorrow I am going to rely on my 2000 LTC because it's in my driveway and I own it. A 2014 MKZ does nothing for me if it's not in my driveway.
But as to why Chevrolet isn't in the question much is the same reason ford V10's aren't talked about a whole lot. They are reliable as a hammer and rarely fail. TUNDRA is a great truck, it employes American workers, well so does every other automaker selling in the USA.
I wonder if Germans who buy GM or Ford get ridiculed because they didn't buy "German" cars?
I lived there for four years (in Germany). I heard a lot of BMW vs Mercedes but I never heard a "German vs American" debate.
Funny, when I was at our local ram dealership, not one Italian National came out to sell me a Ram....nope...it was an American.
If I were buying a new truck right now it would be a Silverado crew cab with that sweet 4.3 V6.
