Camper is going to be close to 4000 wet. lay you odds the unloaded truck rear axle weight is over 2300 pounds (6300 is the combined tire load rating)
he is going to be at 6800 to 7200 pounds with the camper loaded on tires that are combined load rated at 6300. The Rear Axle is capable of over 9000. The tires aren't rated for the load he is asking them to carry.
We aren't telling him what to do just posting what is reality as far as loads
Now add in wanting to pull a trailer and its additional tongue weight: those tires and wheels "will not cut it".
His axle is not rated for 9000 lbs... He stated what it says here. I assume its from his door sticker...
2008 XL F250 Supercrew 4x4 shortbox Diesel 6.4 158 WB with Camper package 10k GVWR, Front axle GAWR 6000 Rear GAWR 6100. Load range E tires 3150 Max at 80 PSI
anyway 3150 x 4 tires = 12600 lbs ( I was just talking about his rear axle above. This is where most weight will be...and the important # here IMO)
6000 + 6100 axles = 13000 lbs compared to his 12600 tire rating its as close as you can get...
Again once he gets both axle weights from the scale we will know his payload and what he can haul as TC weight, or tongue weight for a TT or 5th wheel......
