Good points indeed.
I wonder the wear and tear on the front end of the thousand plus trips
thru my neighborhood annually and the impact of speed "Humps" (not "bumps")
on my front end ??? Getting those placed was the only way to
slow my neighbors down (live in proximity of an Elementary school)....
developers built long straight aways and we serve as a "cut-thru" when traffic is
backed up at rush hours at nearby stop lights (major thouroughfares).
Moral to the story... my dilemma (idler arm abuse) may indeed be in excess of 50 % operator error.
