I didn't know enough to know I needed to ask questions. Well that's disapointing. My primary goal was in the case where the battery was dead in the evening, I could run the truck for 15-30 minutes and get sufficient charge that I didn't have the CO sensor screaming at 3am. I did find that running remote start allowed me sufficient power to run the heater and fridge and do very minimal battery charging (not all at once).
So this may be a question for the Ram dealership rather than the camper service guys. I don't expect to get resolution if it's in the computer, but I can at least hear that from the Ram techs I guess.
