I don't think charging TC is main idea here.
I had surprisingly chilly night parking at Walmart and even having generator - going outside and pulling the cord at 5 AM in 50F was not on my dream list.
Would truck charge the TC with remote start for 20 minutes, that would be all I wanted, but the program made me going outside to stick key into ignition after all. Leaving the truck running with unlock door was not to my liking as well.
Now I carry 2 keys, but have to check if I can lock the doors with key in ignition and no side effects.
