You’d need to make sure that your isolation relay/solenoid is actually energized when the truck is remotely started. The way mine is wired (through an upfitter switch) the solenoid doesn’t pick until I put my key in the ignition. I guess that would be a good reason to NOT have the isolator controlled by a switch, but I didn’t know it worked that way when I installed it.
