Truck Seat Repair

I have a 2006 Ford Lariet with the fake leather seats. In one area the seat is wearing (about 6 x 6 area). What I want to know is if any one has had luck with any manufacture of vinyl repair or will eternabond roof tape work? The problem is on the driver side front area left of the seat, so it is not a flat area, but curved.

  • Bite the bullet. Repair the seat right using a professional.
  • I think the Eternabond would hold/last longer than duct tape!

The seat being wore out, says that truck has had a lot of use/abuse! I'd just get a new SuperDuty and be done with it. The good news...if not using cash to avoid payments, at least the interest is at a very low rate.

  • Just do like every other person who is too cheap or lazy to actually repair their worn out drivers seat....
Just put some duct tape on it. Bonus points of you find matching color duct tape! Lol.

I mean, why spend $100 to get a brand new matching seat bottom cover that will keep your presumably nice looking rig from looking like something out of the pick n pull lot?
