Even the commercial suspension on my dually squats 2" under my 4200lb camper.
I've been putting all my trucks to their limits (had over 10,000lb on my F450 more than once) and my way of telling the limit is observing the axle bumpers.
Each truck has rubber stops that hit axle directly or a bracket.
I wanted at least 1" gap between them for comfort on long trip, or at least 1/2" for garbage runs.
