Are you sure the scale you went to was correct? We had an experience of using a private scale that was not right, and reweighed at a highway scale -- about 1,000 pounds difference. The 2011 Lance 830 weighs 2,322 dry so wet weight and options should put it at about 3,000 pounds. We have a similar set up with a total weight of 3,000 pounds on our Chevy 2500HD. Ready to go, we weigh 5,640 on the rear axle -- we know it's not giving us much leeway on the tires rated at 3,042 pounds, but we've been good for 8 years.
