No question about that. We are already looking for a bigger camper and that is part of the delima. I want to stay small to make it easier to run around and explore. Afraid a big one will make it a bit more cumbersome to run around with.
Did spend two hours today at another dealership. Purpose there was they had a 6.4 gasser in a 2500. Close enough to drive about 40 miles over the tallest bridge we have to give me a decent idea on how it would pull the hills. Granted the truck was empty, but feel comfortable that it will easily handle up to a 4,000# camper. Going by the lie of meter, the MPG was about as expected to be reported on the dash.
Since we can't really find close to what we want on the lot we are just going to wait until we get to look at a camper I'm interested in that only requires SRW. Waiting 12 weeks for an order means so what if we wait another couple weeks to order. If DW doesn't like the size of the wet bath, we will be back to a dry bath hunt which moves me up to a DRW weight.
