satellite radio is what they listen to, no transmit receive. Sideband is off the cb freq close to ham but not on it. I had a radio with it, but the cb didn't work so the guy I took it to for repair went out of business while he had it and I dont know where he went. Mainly no 4 wheelers to bother them I think and longer distance just not sure. Go to a truck stop with cb shop and they can tell ya the pros/cons.

I do wish more rv's had cb's even if they dont talk, turn up squelch and listen for close by, it may just be them that is being talked about!
