Truck/suv rental to take on out west trip towing ??

Just thinking outside the box here. My 2000 burb with 200,000 miles is not getting any younger, so was wondering if I rented a 2015 Yukon xl or sub and hooked up trailer and go. Is this allowed when y...

I don't know about all of the rental companies, but since the liability insurance on the towed unit is covered by the liability insurance on the truck, most will not allow towing with a rental. Too much of a risk for the rental company.
