Truck/suv rental to take on out west trip towing ??

I rent about every week from National. I know their policy states they do not allow towing, but their Suburbans are all equiped with a hitch.

Another downside to renting something like this is cost. As mentioned above, the times I specifically requested a luxury SUV (that is what National calls Suburbans), it was over $250/day.
