Im thinking about getting a tst507 how well do they work? I nothing about them we tow a ford ranger

You mentioned you are towing a Ford Ranger. Behind a MH? Not sure if you noticed but this is posted in the travel trailer forum.
I had the TST 507 flow through on a previous MH and had some issues with it. Most notably it would drop a signal on several tires randomly and set off a low psi alarm for no reason and then a minute later it reported an ok psi. I started to question the reliability of alerts, which is not what I am looking for in a TPMS. I know a lot of folks have the TST and seem to love it - maybe I had a bad set. I am currently using the tire minder system for about a year now with absolutely no issues.
