How would I check my battery is charging when hooked up to shore power?

How many batteries do you have? If you have 2, or thinking of increasing the size of your battery bank or if you plan to do any camping without electrical hookups, I would not go to a smaller converter.
Manufacturers usually take advantage of any way to cut costs. They apparently felt that your TT needed the 40A converter. I vote for a 40A or 45A smart converter.
