Look for something narrow, low and aerodynamic.
Best MPG I've seen in a full featured trailer (toilet, shower, permanent bed and dinette, roof air, conventional oven, microwave +) is roughly 15 MPG avg for a 19' Escape trailer. Towed by a gas 4runner. Probably towed by a yet to be introduced mid sized diesel pickup, I could see this getting 18 MPG real world.
