TT is winterized, but still getting use

I winterized the TT a few weeks ago, and it is parked next to the house. Although we've already had a few snow storms hit the NJ region, it warmed up here in the last few days. My daughter had a party over the weekend and had a sleepover in the TT with her friends. Any use is a good use as far as I'm concerned!

Does your TT ever serve duty other than at a campground?
  • I use it as a spare bedroom/ guest room. My last camper a used 5th wheel was lived in for 10 years only time it moved while I had it was after Katrina when it was used in New Orleans for 2 years.

I use my current trailer less ( as far as someone sleeping in it ) but it has traveled more.

I had a lot of people over for dinner and was short of oven space few weeks ago. No problem used the kitchen in the camper as well as in the house.

I would not want to have a trailer that was stored somewhere else.

Takes me 12 minutes to fully winterize so I do. We are headed out next week. My younger kids like to sleep out there with friends. Sure why not. Often it is a quiet place to help with home work and hide Christmas gifts.

Hmm...never thought of the gift hiding capabilities.....as long as it isn't stuff that can melt or freeze!

  • My wife can be...ahem...a little loud at times, so for the kids sake we go out to the RV. :B

You bet - mine has come in handy two or three times so far when we lose power here in the neighborhood for extended times...

We spend the night in our trailer all the time. Great get-away even here in the back yard...
