TT rental Northwest Mich?

A buddy of mine's wife wants to take her boys camping after seeing my setup a few times and spending a weekend sharing a campsite a previous summer.

Husband doesn't want to sleep "in the dirt" in a tent this time, so I'm trying to talk them into renting a trailer. They're a family of five, two youngsters, a baby and two adults.

There's Galvanek and Tye One J rental nearby. Galvanek seems to just rent the trailer, and you handle the towing. Tye One I'm not sure but it looks like they handle the towing and deliver to your choice of local spots.

Does anyone have feedback on either business, or can recommend someone I haven't found yet?
  • We rented one to see if we wanted to pull one of those ore barges around. My TV had the wiring package and a break controller, so it was easy. Otherwise I would have it towed for me.

Could you drop your trailer and pick up the rental for him if it's local?

That's plan B if his setup is insufficient. But that's the cart before the horse, need to find the right rental first.

What kind of tow vehicle do they have ?

They are going to need a hitch and wiring which could be over $200 if the have someone else do it.

He has an older 2500 GMC with factory tow setup. Not sure about the brak controls.
