Use of truck bed while towing means the 5th wheel receiver and RV pin sits in the middle of the truck bed. There is some space left, but towing a 5th wheel does restrict the amount/size/shape of what fits when towing. Travel trailers allow full bed use. However, 5th wheel RVs tend to have a lot more outside storage compared to travel trailers.
