Since it is quite easy lock up the trailer brakes, I don't think they are totally responsible for stopping the trailer. I can actually pull my trailer with all four trailer wheels not turning. Are you saying that a F-150 will stopped a combined load of 14,000 in the same distance as a F-350 pulling the same trailer? I will take my chances with the one ton.
