Pulling over your trucks stated weight limit? Here is our real life experience that gives a different perspective. A few years ago we were pulling our fiver with a 3/4 tun Chevy with an extended warranty. Water pump went out. When towed to a repair truck dealership the warranty people insisted the fiver be weighed BEFORE they would pay for the work. If it had been over weight - no payment!
So - I assume your new truck is under warranty - BUT stuff happens!
