Everyone is pushing 3/4 tons to pull stuff an f-150 can pull with ease.

But only when equipped with both max. tow and HD payload packages. Those numbers are not for the everyday F150's you find on the lot.
I am not anti Ford or Anti 1/2 ton. The marketing departments like to blur the information and create confusion.
In the end lots of people think all F150's are capable of these high rating when it is actually very few. For the most part you need to order the F150 to get the maximum ratings. You are unlikely to find one equipped that way on the lot.
