I agree with the majority here. I drove around years ago with a trailer and truck that was overloaded. I thought it wasn't an issue except with the fuel mileage. Long story short, attended a few seminars at a rally years ago and found out some additional details on weights, loading, GVW, UVWR, Towing capacities etc. So anyhow, back to my point. We got home, stripped the truck and trailer, got them weighed and then weighed all the stuff wee take. Guess what, we were about 600 pounds overweight. So we made adjustments and decreased the weight to put us under the allowable combined weight ratings and the individual weight ratings which I believe are all important. Found out that if we added 2 more adults, average of 175 pounds each and about 300 pounds of gear, we were at or near our limits, this of course after our adjustment. Well anyhow, check your weight ratings, tire ratings, etc, etc, etc. Your Life and families lives are important but ours are too. Last note, don't listen to the salesmen out there, they usually don't have a clue about this stuff, they just want to sell you something. Good Luck & Be Safe
