TT Winter Covers

Hello All,

I am looking to buy a cover for my TT. It's about 19' long. I've read all sorts of reviews and some say one is great and the others say that one rips, etc.

I am looking for some good feedback from actual TT owners who have done this a few times!

Any information and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Not true , not true, and not true. Been covering my TT with ADCO and none of these issues exist. The material is soft and breathable. The cover is vented along the sides. A little product research goes a long way. Maybe "Everyone" has used a tarp, plastic, or did not follow directions.

The "Everyone's" we have talked to have all been RV dealers and a manufacturer.
I have to add, I have not seen one used on any RV in our area. The only thing we saw was an RV wrapped like a present with a tarp and duct tape. Obviously, there will be issues with that TT.

If they work for people that's great. I would think that where you live, weather conditions etc would make a difference. It might be best to see how others in your region store their RV.
  • Our cover works great! We pad any areas of our camper that may wear a hole
in the cover before we cover it. Rips are normally caused from sharp areas
and bottom corners of the RV that wear through.
  • I cover our Southwind. We've never had any problems with the cover rubbing the paint or holding moisture and/or mildew issues.
We get a lot of winter wind in our area.

  • I use an adco cover, never had any problems. I uncover it it is as clean as when I covered it. If you use a tarp you will have problems but an RV cover will breath and not cause problems. I also cover it so any thaw and freeze that occurs will happen on the cover and not on my roof and anything on my roof.
