TT with rear master bed, front bunkhouse.

I purchased our 301 BQ from Holman RV, Cincinnati OH. Price was almost $4K lower than local dealer. Over 50% of their sales are out of state.

I'm looking for something similar and am taking a closer look at a Forest River V-Lite 30WTBS. My plan is to not have the bunks installed in the front and use that space as an office. I'll be full-timing for a while and I work from home now, so will need space for a desk, tower and back-up server and small printer. Here's the link:

We'll, we went to the RV show this past weekend.
I have a couple things working against me however.
My dear wife is not too thrilled about an RV payment and after making a call to the bank that carries the loan on my truck, I find out I owe a couple thousand more then I thought. :S

My plans may be delayed a bit, but Im still looking for feed back and Ill still do my research and plan on a purchase in the fall or next spring.

I dont have the 301BQ so I cant really help you there, but dont be afraid to print out your qoute from Lakeshore and take it to a local dealer. Depending on the dealer you may be suprized at their counter offer once they realize you are a serious buyer and have a firm quote.

The wider bunks are a definite plus.

Ive been pricing them and Lakeshore is the least expensive so far, even if you ad the $1100 they quoted me to transport it here.

What did everyone pay for their 301bq?

We have a 2012 Outback 301BQ. A lot of times we camp with 4 adults and 4 kids in the trailer. Nice unit...we purchased based upon the rear bedroom layout vs the small front bedroom units. With any trailer luggage space becomes a premium when you have 8-10 staying in the trailer. If serious about 301BQ upgrade to 15K ac. We also upgraded to the teak interior / leather couch. According to Keystones website it appears the Passport only has one grey water tank and the Outback has two as well as a larger fresh water tank. The trim level is a little higher on the outback. The passport has 28" bunks, the Outback has 34" bunks. The Outback also has a crowned interior ceiling. We looked at both Passports and Outbacks and many others 2 years ago, mainly because of the floor plan We chose the Outback 320BH. The added interior hight as well as wider bunks was a big bonus.

The dry tongue weight of the Passport Elite 32FB matches your receiver rating tkoden, and will likely go up from there. That would really be pushingmy 1000 pound rating as well.
