I am not qualified to answer since I am all thumbs with construction things, but I do have a question. Is there a shower? If so, the walls should already be designed to be "wet". What age is the trailer? When you say wipe it after each use, again - is this after a shower or a tub bath? If you have a shower and the walls don't have sufficient material for water deflection you really should put some surround material in. I am sure others will give you some sound advice. Good luck.
