No load, Harsher 3/4 ton like ride with 1211 or firmed up factory ride with 1223V with some initial compression leaving a level-ish or slight rake truck IE less than factory rake but no sag. That is figuring setting up truck & TT adjusting loading and WDH according to CAT scale results. IE to replace unloaded steer weight (3,200-3,300) and toward 12.0 percent tongue weight or 720 pounds.
(For WDH you calculate TW by subtracting unloaded truck scale weight from loaded truck scale weight)
I have to say though consider the HD axle to frame bags such as the Timbergroves. $359 and you are done. No need to buy adjustable shocks for the front to offset additional rake from the higher setting aftermarket springs. Improved factory ride through better dampening and less NVH. Quick & easy adjustable airspring pressure for an appropriate spring rate no matter the load.
I transport TTs from the Mfgrs to their dealerships commercially 560k miles on my 2014 Ram 1500 ED. From 700 on the tongue to an empty bed to different times as much as 1,000 on the tongue & a 8/900 pound Harley in the bed all in the same cross country round trip. Would have 15 psi then drop to 5 then Inflate up to 20 in the bags plus WDH. Always rides smooth and handles with control and dampened and a slight rake. Twice I forklift loaded pallets of tile to the cab edge of the bed 2,800 & 2,900 pounds. Load rated tires and 25 psi no issues. Was she overloaded yep but no sag and fine for a local move.
Point is I’m spoiled. I see no reason to buy perhaps stiff harsh riding big rake aftermarket springs. If you click the link you will see this is not the cheapie thin plastic like in coil bags that have to be aired up prior to loading and have the cheapest plastic lines and fitting that eventually leak. This is brass fittings heavy convoluted rubber bags like semi trucks. Food for thought.
