If you compare new to new around here the ford is way way way cheaper. Way.
That may be the case now but it will be 10 years down the road at trade in time too. The Tundra will hold its value longer and work out the same in the end. Pay now, save later.
I tow a similar sized TT very happily with my Tundra but with the Crewmax version of either truck you will be pushing the limits payload wise. The only truck available in the 1/2 ton class with the higher rating would be the Ecoboost with the tow and payload package. If you don't like that option you'll be better off going with a 3/4 ton.
