Personally, too much trailer (length and weight) for a Tundra irregardless of ratings. I love my Tundra and they are a nice truck. When I first got it, I pulled our old 29' Sunline with it a few times, and the Sunline weighed in around 8K loaded with personal gear, food, etc. The Tundra pulled it ok, but you really knew it when hitting the hills of Ohio. Pulling our Minnie @ 6400 lbs. seems to be an ideal weight....truck has enough power in the mountains, and much less straining of the powertrain. Personal opinion...a Tundra would be good up to around 7K if you plan on doing some traveling and driving in the mountains.
If you look at the dry weight of the 3008W, you are starting out at 7,038 lbs. and that may not include added options. Loaded, you'll probably be at 8K or so.
Can the Tundra pull that weight...yes!! And you will probably have a lot of replies advising you that it's not a problem. But it will come at a cost (IMHO) and not be a combination that you will be happy with. My suggestion is to find something that starts out at 6K and will end up @7K loaded.
Or, if you really like that trailer, go for it as long as you have the option of trading in the Tundra if you don't like the towing performance. You don't want to be faced with the problem of selling a brand new trailer....too much of a financial loss.
