Yep, the garbage K & N filter has only lasted 110,000 miles so far. I will be sure to trash it.
Was it a new plug that was bad. The code did not identify which cylinder was misfiring?
I cracked the ceramic putting it in, the "Service Engine Soon" light was flashing, and the miss was intermittent. The nice man at O'Reilly that sold me the plugs would not even hook up the diagnostic tool, said if the light was not on solid it would not read a code. Told him I thought it stored the code, he was not inclined to go out in the rain to prove it.
I did not price the plug wires, after he told me the O2 sensor was $56.00 and I needed 4 of them, I decided I could not afford a smooth running truck.
