I use diesel and it's not nearly as likely to have an issue.
But even if i used gasoline, I wouldn't bother. I just can't see how that tiny flame is going to leap around a corner (fridge at back of TT) and then 30+ feet to the gas nozzle. Or that the gas is going to do something similar.
Hopefully I won't get "flamed" for this. :p
