No, I do not turn mine off. Turning off the gas will not keep the igniter from trying to ignite the propane if the refrigerator needs to turn on while I'm refueling. I'm not going to go inside the camper and extend the slide so I can get to the refrigerator to turn it off before pumping diesel into my truck.
