Turn off propane at gas stations - DO YOU?
Hi. I have read that you should close the propane tank when entering the gas station but some people have said they do not. We will have ours on for the fridge. We are driving our first long trip (7...

No one will change their minds because of this.
But consider.... If you are going to turn the fridge off.... It needs to be done before pulling into the station. And then it needs to be started after leaving it... Doing either while at the station defeats the purpose.
So now you have to find a place away from the station to turn it off, and turn it back on. That can be a hassle with a TT hitched up.
But lets say you go to all of the effort and are at the pump about to refuel.... And a MH pulls up on the opposite side of the pump... It is very likely that he hasn't turned his off.... So you and yours just wasted your time as you are now in the same danger as if you didn't do it either....
What do you do????? Pee your pants?
