Just replaced the two batteries last night in our '08 Duramax. Not sure how old the batteries were as I am the second owner. I've had the truck just over five years and only put 31000 miles on it. I went with Duracells from Sam's, $115 each and they installed them for free. They do have a three year warranty, we shall see how they do.
