Well, I wandered into Costco today to have a peek at what they have.
They had 2 options for a Group 78. Light duty and lighter duty. Well, maybe not, just my perception when I'm used to buying the biggest bestest baddest of stuff. One was light duty.
The regular one was 800 CCA, 1000 CA, 110 Reserve capacity. 100 month limited warranty, 36 month free replacement then prorated after that starting at 60% in the 37th month, down to nothing after 100 months. $120. for that one.
I suppose it would do the job. I like batteries that could power a cruise ship.... :B I always buy the biggest that will physically fit.
Not done looking yet, I have time. Cold snap upon us here in Calgary, nice time to tell the boss if he wants something built to go build it himself! Haha! Minus 22C right now, gonna hit a low of -31C Monday. 2 words about working Monday in that. Can't print them here, I'll get deleted! :B
Went into a local auto parts store after Costco. (Auto Value) Interstate Group 78 for 175 bucks. Same as what I have, or close to it. And then some cheapo brand I've never heard of for $135.
