That would make picking a TV impossible, and there are quite a few "informed" opinions here. I would definitely be using WD/SC as well and am aware of hitch weights. This would be my 3rd TT and 4th TV. I can guarantee I don't have 1000 lbs of extra weight, probably 500-650. I purposely bought lightweight pots/pans, silverware, etc. I do see where 2000lbs might be on the edge though with 3 other people in the TV and all the necessities.
I'm not sure where we're going to end up, but here are the only trucks I've found so far that are of interest considering miles/price/year:
2011-2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 4x4, 2011 Chevy Avalanche 4x4 5.3, 2013 Ford F150 supercrew ecoboost 4x4. I can't quite find ANY suvs that fit the bill. I'm not a Dodge guy either. This is something my wife would have to drive from time to time (she works from home but is a gym rat) and we would make any road trips in it as a family of 4. I have a Mustang GT......
