Ours was a bit harder to find a stud. We couldn't place it exactly where the previous tv was located but we did find a stud for at least two of the screws. We used the drywall screws that tighten against the back of the wall an spread out (I forget what they are called). Over 2-years and 1,000s of mikes later and no problems.
