Go find a 2006-2007 classic Duramax LBZ engine with 6 speed Allison setup. The 2007.5's(newer body style) "UP TO" trucks with DEF are not the best animals on the farm.
The models noted above were as good as it gets, until you jump forward to the trucks with (D)iesel (E)xhaust (F)luid emissions systems.
May need to put a few more RV bucks(1000's) into the deal!
