hmmm, what's old is new. The 289 (4.8L) evolved into the 302 (5.0L) back in the 60's. So now we've gone from various displacement modular V8's back to the 5.0L and now Ford is stepping back again to the 289? Funny.
My first mustang had a 289 and I loved it. Small but powerful and could take a lot of abuse. ;) :B
