Also, I am not just going on what this article states. There have been many articles before this one that insinuates(through deductive reasoning) that the new 4.8L will be turbocharged. As the Unifor President Jerry Dias stated in another article about the labor contract to build the 4.8L “This new engine will be the highest technology, will be the most fuel efficient, will have incredible torque, horsepower and will be put into Ford’s No. 1 selling vehicles throughout the North American chain.”
How does a 4.8L create "incredible torque, horsepower" over a 5.0L that already has most of the latest technology without forced induction? Again this is just my speculation from all of the articles I have read about it and I am not saying it is for certain. You are more than welcome to have your own speculations and discuss the matter which is why I made this thread.
