Assuming 1000 lbs of gear this trailer will average
at least 6100 lbs, in which case you should be running
at least 800 lbs of gross tongue weight. Subtract that from your truck's payload capacity and that's what you have left for everything else in the truck. If the trailer's gross weight works out to be even higher it's gross tongue weight will be too. Got enough payload left to work with? :@
