Uber expensive pickups...how much of a trend ?

Very expensive pickups...loaded, beautiful interiors, etc. Is this a harbinger of the future...or just a temporary trend ? How much luxury do people want and perhaps more to the point can they af...

Ford vehicles, in general usually come with 2 or 3 trim levels. F150s I believe have 5 !

Who needs/wants leather "seating surfaces" in a pickup anyway. (In case you don't know, the "seating surface" is pretty much just the front center of the 2 halves of the seat. Everything else is vinyl that matches the leather quite well !)
