I would be willing to bet that we could take your truck and a new truck and load them exactly the same and have the new truck follow you on a run and the new truck would get better mileage. You would have to lead because the new truck would be constantly trying to slow down on the hills so as to not run off and leave you. It's much easier to follow a slower rig if you are trying to run together.
