I read about cracked dashes on newer trucks about once a month on the truck forums.
I've never seen a newer car or truck have their dash crack.
That is until GM.
I had an '85 Dodge that was 14 years old and no problems.
My friend had his 92 Dodge 24 years, no problems.
The GM dash is about as thin as paper. The edge along the windshield is so flimsy it's like it isn't attached to anything.
