Unable to use park tv hookup

check the cable connections. My Antenna didn't work when i got my trailer. after some swearing I took everything out of the cabinet near the plug, removed the couple screws holding the panel in and go access to the back side of the jack. The spliter had the cable sitting next to it. It wasn't threaded on the spliter. They crank these things out so fast at the manufacture that simple things get missed.

Have you checked the source button e remote?

We go from camping at dog shows with minimum hookups to full hookups at campgrounds. I have just decided that I always have to set up the booster and the TV for every trip. Otherwise it's as you describe. Try getting channels over the air and make sure that works. Then try the cable. It will require pushing the button on the booster and rescanning under the cable setting on your TV.

On my old trailer the cables were hooked up backwards, might want to check that.

And sometimes the “box” is more money.

Agree with first checking to see if the antenna amplifier is off. Then on the TV menu find where you scan for channels, select cable, and rescan for cable channels.

if it's actually the 'cable' hookup (connected from a cable television connection on the utility pedestal to the 'cable in' hookup on the outside of the trailer), it may well be that all modern cable systems have gone to a 'you need a box' system...at a park we use, used to be able to get cable by making that connection....for the past couple of years, it doesn't work because the signal is scrambled and a 'cable box' is the only way to descramble to make the input watchable

You're almost certainly running into the antenna booster. There will be a small button to turn it off and a red light that will be on when it's active. Most often it's on the coax plate behind the main tv, but Rockwood has apparently also put them at the secondary tv in the bedroom and under the dinette (why?).
