A dash is cheap compared to some mid model PSD disasters.
I wanted another Ford bad not because of fond 7.3 memories but because of the rock solid truck it was in. No way was I buying a 6.0 and I wasn't willing to spend 6.7 PSD money. So I settled on what I thought was the best combo for me at a good price and in good condition.

Ha ha, as a senior member you should know by now how this works. At least we are writing about diesels.
If it's any consolation I do thinks it's very nice that you let your buddy get it. A very kind thing to do in this troubled world.
