Same way as you would on any A, B, C, or trailer... Those are all open to the world on the bottom and everything splashes up in there.
I'd be more concerned about exhaust leaks causing CO buildup in the camper. The generator would be more or less buried in the middle of the housing area, especially with an 11' camper.
