All feels just fine. Nothing feels dry or rough. Bearing spins smoothly.
So not a u joint or carrier bearing then?
It is odd you lost another u joint so early. Very rare.
We're not there so can't diagnose the issue very well.
And just for lil widdis, u joints are typically 3rd party manufactured, so not a vehicle brand specific thing, unless maybe you're suggesting that the Ram is so awesome and powerful that it's destroying u joints with its superior power! Hahahaha
In the future, it would be quicker and easier for you to put the truck in N and jack up 1 rear wheel vs removing a 2 piece driveshaft for inspection. - Grit_dogNavigator

65000? Not a very good recommendation on RAMs.
If it makes you feel better, my 2016 Silverado dropped it's transmission at 60k miles... - ScottGNomadHow about that center carrier? Is the rubber allowing the shaft to move around a lot or sag significantly?

The shudder isn’t at shift points but becomes apparent between shifts when asking a lot of acceleration of it.
That could be your UJ's. Do you get any other symptoms? Maybe a long violin note at some lower speeds? That's been the first thing I noticed with mine. It's espcially loud if I'm next to a cement wall where it echos off it. - Cummins12V98Explorer III"Cummins I’d bet yours a grazeable."
I know for a fact they are not. My 86 C20 with somewhere around 450k had OE non grazable joints when I sold it.
Current 01 RAM Sport, last 11 DRW RAM and Current DRW RAM all have/had OD non grazable U joints.
My 11 DRW is owned by someone I don't know so I have no idea of the condition.
I am SOLD on non greasable!!! - LwiddisExplorer II65000? Not a very good recommendation on RAMs.

“Shudder” I do note some in 1-2 gear if I put foot into it too hard when pulling 14,000 trailer.
It is annoying.
This is the kind of shudder you would get from a standstill and not so much when the auto is shifting. Sadly, it wont help with that!
I think the problem might be more pronounced with a manual like mine but I'm not sure.
