Regarding slide and basement offerings by Northstar. Call and talk to Rex about those options. He has good reasons for this and is happy to share the information. Slides are nice but can be troublesome at times. I have them and like them but I also decided to carry an insurance policy on them to protect myself financially if i have a bad situation develop in one of them. By creating large openings in the sides or rear of a small truck camper frame there needs to be a lot of strength added to the main frame to handle the stresses from moving and bouncing and the additional weight. Most, if not all, offroad type RV rigs (Earth Roamer, Global Expedition Vehicles, Host Expedition Vehicles, Northstar Truck Campers, are built without slides due to the stresses of off road, off grid travel.
