The DEF usage has definately dropped off for me, but it sure threw me for a loop. Especially just starting off towing and not knowing what to expect. All is good, we made it to Lost Dutchman SP. Came down off of I 40 Through Payson. There's a grade just south of Payson that's I think 7 or 8 miles long at 6%, went down that and hardly used the truck/trailer brakes. God I love that EB on this RAM!
I'm looking forward to getting out on the flats without this "western wind" to see what kind of mileage I'll get not pulling these grades and fighting all the wind out here.
All in all this truck is awesome! The factory installed rear air suspension is great! Rides MUCH better than the Firestone Ride Rite and leafs I had on the '06.
BTW I checked my mileage from Holbrook to Lost Dutchman through Payson, I averaged 8.43 mpg, not too bad considering the grades and all that wind.
